UOM
The AF groups units of measure into Unit-of-Measure (or UOM) classes. For example, the "Mass" unit-of-measure class contains units for pounds (lb.), tons (te), kilograms (kg), etc. When Attributes of an Element are assigned a unit of measure, data can be presented in any unit within that class. Each unit-of-measure class is associated with a canonical unit (kilograms for the “Mass” Unit-of-Measure Class), which is the basis for all the unit of measure conversion within the class. When the AF is installed the Unit-of-Measure Classes shown below are loaded in the Sigmafine Server. Once the Unit of Measure Classes are loaded you can add classes and or units within the class.
